Climbing Cloud Ranch Evolution since 2024
2024
During 2024, we focused on building and repairing basic infrastructure, clearing brush, building a solar farm while re-establishing a back-up PG&E connection, creating a site plan and just experiencing and learning about the land.
2025
In 2025, we saw flora spring back. We discovered an incredible network of trails, thanks to Poncho, Arturo and their colleagues. We experienced the micro-climate mega-rain, recording 2” in a night and 50mph winds knocking our 5th wheel about.
2026
The Year of our Wedding
We dialed in - building retaining walls, a pergola, the patio and our ceremony (future tanning) deck. Erik fine-tuned the irrigation systems and built up the solar farm. We looked at safety hazards, reinforced paths and the girls picked up lots of sticks. We envisioned how we could host all of our friends & family on this rustic ridge and we got to work.
